I am flying Singapore to Melbourne next month and the aircraft is rostered as a 777-200. I am not sure if this will be a -200ER aircraft or not. Does anyone know if these feature the latest cabin products? I am flying economy, but also curious about the business class fitout too. Thanks!

I'm flying to Melbourne from Singapore in a couple of weeks and its on the 777-200ER with the proper business class seats i.e. 1/2/1 layout.

Looks like its the 1-2-1 configuration according to expert flyer.

It should be in this configuration with the newer seats: http://www.seatguru.com/airlines/Singapore_Air/Singapore_Air_Boeing_777-200_3.php

The best way to check is to look on the booking and the seat selection map. If it looks similar to the one above its new seats.

This doesn't guarantee it however as last minute aircraft changes can occur.

Hope this helps!

Harry :)

Hey Spacecadet.

I just flew SQ217 last week which is the flight after yours and whilst the seats were 1,2 ,1 they were the much older version.  I asked the Purser about when all the 777 fleet would be upgraded and he had "heard" that for Australia the aircraft were nolonger being upgraded as SQ focuses on the new Airbus and unfortunately the 777-200 had not been upgraded for Aus and neither will all the 777 for Aus.. So, one flight per day to Mel/Sin and Sin/Mel are upgraded with the new seat product... all 777-300er's.

But on the day... anything can happen with equipment changes... so Good Luck!!!
