I've booked a Virgin Australia operated but an Air New Zealand ticketed flight from Christchurch back to Brisbane next month and put in my VA gold number.
I can login using the VA booking number to the Virgin website and it seems to think the baggage allowance is 2 pieces
When viewing the booking 3 out of the 4 people with no status it says 0 Bag but for myself it says 2 bags. Everyone was booked on a seat only ticket and I thought that anyone who booked a seat only booking didn't get any bags regardless of status.
So is the computer right or wrong in this situation?

Computer is right, you'll get your status allowance on seat only.
