Apparently Air China is about to announce an acquisition deal with Swire which will see them becoming the majority share holder of CX. It's quite an unexpected move and I wonder what CX will be like in the future. Anyone else heard about it?
This rumour did the rounds a while back, not a surprise that Cathay's recent financial woes has seen it resurface – until it's being reported by credible sources, I'd not give it time of day.
