All my Virgin Australia status credits have disappeared following the introduction of the new system this weekend. Has anyone else had the same problem? (Points are OK it's the credits that have vanished.)

Yes, it's a common issue - doesn't mean you have no status credits, simply yhat they're not being displayed - see http://www.ausbt.com.au/virgin-australia-s-new-system-what-flyers-this-week-need-to-know for more.
