As part of their joint venture, Qantas and Emirates will also interline bags to each other, even if the passenger if travelling on separate tickets. (It's a different agreement to the Oneworld policy which changed recently, which no longer requires Qantas to interline when on separate bookings, as Qantas' agreement with Emirates is a separate policy.)
A handy one to know in case you need to mix and match flights!

According to their website QF can still through check baggage to other oneworld carriers on separate tickets when it's a mix of award and revenue travel:
^ Exemptions apply for customers travelling on a oneworld separate PNRs when using a combination of award travel and revenue travel.

Flying J FCO-DXB-SIN (EK) followed by SIN-BNE (QF)Â with 5.5 hrs connection in SIN,
This was booked as a 'Multi-City' with QFF points and all on the same PNR.
Will Emirates issue boarding pass for QF leg in FCO and check baggage all the way from FCO to BNE,
or will I have to collect bags in SIN and recheck at QF counter?
Thanks.
