I'm flying on CX156 in a few days and was wondering if BNE has self bag drop. The website seems a bit outdated because I know BNE has self-kiosks but CX website hasn't updated their global Kiosk list with BNE yet. I've already checked in through mobile and have my mobile boarding pass too. Im asking because if there is no self bag drop or a bag drop that I can do at any time, i can't make the most of the lounge as I intend to go super early. i.e i'd have to wait till the manned desk opens.
Last time I went through Brisbane airport they were in the process of building the self-bag drops but that was a month ago so I'd assume they'd be finished by now.
You plan but not work as Brisbane's Kiosks are different to ones in other airports. They only let you check in using the kiosks after it's been opened by a staff member which usually happens at the 3-hour mark.
Some airlines like Qantas and Virgin open the check-in for all of the days flights first thing in the morning but you'll be out of luck with Cathay as the really only have the one flight during the day.
Yeah I do know that in SYD they're open all day. But htat's because SYD has 4 flights per day so there's always going to be a check-in desk running there.
Vithanachchi, I'm booked in for the same flight in a few months time and I was planning on doing the same thing as you. How did your early bag drop go?

Oh one more thing...would electric toothbrushes be allowed in either Cabin baggage or checked baggage?
