"UAE and Australia sign MoU on transport and air traffic". Just saw today that a new agreement has been signed by GCAA and Dept of transport and was wondering what this may mean for travellers, routes and slots for Emirates and QF?

I guess there will be limited impact on travellers, Qantas and Emirates. The above mentioned agreement is focused on civil aviation security, and sharing of technical expertise. It's not like the Open Skies Agreement inked with US and Singapore which removes restrictions on the number of flights.
