Congratulations to the AusBT team on taking a step onto the global stage with the new Executive Traveller website! For those who have missed today's announcement, there's an FAQ at https://www.ausbt.com.au/introducing-executive-traveller?utm_source=hero.

I've noticed an increase in 'international' stories such as Virgin Atlantic's new A350 Upper Class seat and think this is a good direction you're going in, as there really isn't any international site on par with AusBT, so I look forward to reading the new ET when it launches. Please contact me if you need a beta tester for the new site before it goes live.

No, if you read the FAQs, the ownership is unchanged, they just want to increase relevance/readership for audiences outside Australia by broadening the content.

And what 'ball game' has gone where??

No, as explained in the FAQ article at https://www.ausbt.com.au/introducing-executive-traveller there's no change in ownership – we are simply extending our reach to be international rather than mainly Australian, and changing the brand to suit.

Congrats on achieving a more worldwide spread but please, similar to others fears above, maintain an antipodean focus.

The last thing we want is for the site to become overwhelmed by Northern hemispheric content (and I am living in the Middle East).

Hi Ross: our 'focus' will be global in scope, as befits a site aimed at international business travellers, but you'll certainly continue to see stories relevant to Australian business travellers.

Good on you all, you're head and shoulders ahead of the other sites (including the one that shares most of your name) in reviewing airlines and hotels, and with news that is not only Australian focused, but of interest more generally.
