I don't think the business travel market is big enough that VA can win a big enough slice of it from Qantas. A lot of businesses run on 'cheapest fare on the day' and end up flying Jetstar unless the staff have QF specified in their contract. I agree that Southwest is very popular for businesses ...

Yes, I have business interests in Asia and have applied for exemption. Was approved within a few days. But you'll have to spend two weeks in quarantine at a hotel, covered by the govt, on your return.

That's a very good point! Fortunately if you are using Grab you enter the address in advance. I have given up on taxis in Singapore unless I am in a rush. Grab can also be much faster from Changi, there can be a queue of people waiting for the taxi,.

Cathay's premium economy seats on the Boeing 777 and Airbus A330 are quite decent, the biggest drawback was that when they launched only the seats in the front of the cabin had a proper padded calf-rest and leg-rest which swung up from beneath the front of your seat, all other rows had to make do...
