Im flying out this afternoon with Thai Airways. I want to earn points with Aegean Airlines but I need the thai airways gold luggage benefits. Can I use both?

Yes.

Check in with your Thai Gold card, and then at the boarding gate (preferably before boarding), ask them to swap it out for your Aegean number. Ask for a new boarding pass, and confirm that your Aegean number is on it, and that your Thai number isn't.

Good luck!

I think you can just show the check in agent your TG Gold card and claim the luggage allowance whilst at check in you record your Aegean FF number on the boarding pass. Saves you the hassle at the boarding gate.

I concur. I've done that with QF and AA before. No problems. Just make sure your Agean number is on your boarding pass. And also make sure they label your bags priority (on account of your TG Gold Status).

Everything did not go according to plan. The girl at the check-in desk could not place the Aegean number on my ticket. She went from computer to computer trying to do so. Then it was the same girl at the boarding gate so no hope there. I ended up ringing up Thai Airways Sydney office to try and do it from there. At the moment the points have not been credit as of yet to either program
