Hilton Garden Inn to sprout in Brisbane’s north

Brisbane is currently a one-Hilton city, but that’s about to change, with the Hilton Garden Inn Brisbane City Centre North due to open in the leafy northern suburb of Spring Hill in early 2024.

Catering to both business and leisure travellers, the 129-room new-build is set to feature a sleek glass-walled lobby, full-service restaurant and bar, and meeting facilities, as well as a fitness room and 24-hour grab-and-go retail store ‘The Shop’ adding to the convenience.

Designed by Hayes Anderson Lynch Architects, whose portfolio includes the upcoming Maasra Apartments complex in Coorparoo south of the CBD, the hotel will be just 13km from Brisbane Airport and in walking distance to the CBD.

Located at 30-32 McConnell Street, it also be well placed for those looking to bite into the popular restaurant and bar precincts of Howard Smith Wharves and Eagle Street Pier too, as well as St Andrew’s War Memorial and Royal Brisbane Hospitals, Victoria Park and the RNA Showgrounds. 

Ground is expected to break on the development later this year.

When complete, it will mark the third Garden Inn property in Australia, joining Hilton Garden Inn Albany, which opened in Southwest WA in November last year, and the Hilton Garden Inn Sydney Kingswood in western Sydney, earmarked to welcome its first guests in 2023.

The Hilton Garden Inn Brisbane City Centre North will join 28 operating and 12 pipeline Hilton properties throughout Australasia.
