Pullman opens new hotel in West Shanghai

The Pullman Shanghai Qingpu Excellence is now open on the western side of Shanghai.

Located within the heart of the Qingpu Industrial Zone on Zhuying Road, the hotel is aimed at corporate travellers doing business within the area, but still has easy access to leisure and tourist destinations.

Nearby attractions include the historical Zhujiajiao Ancient Town and the scenic Dianshan Lake.

By car, Shanghai Pudong Airport is 80 minutes drive and Hongqiao Airport is 40 minutes. It takes about an hour to reach Shanghai’s CBD from the hotel.

The Pullman features 275 guestrooms and family rooms, 16 suites and one presidential suite.

There’s some variety when it comes to dining – Yue Café offers an international buffet, authentic French patisserie and a mix of Western and Asian dishes, while Q Seafood & Grill is a modern steak and seafood house.

Azur Chinese Restaurant cooks up Shanghainese, Cantonese and local Qingpu dishes along with seafood specialities. Finally, the lobby lounge is a casual place to settle down to cocktails and tapas.

Pullman’s ‘Meet & Play’ concept offers ‘engaging icebreakers and team activities that stimulate performance and enhance wellbeing’, promising service that goes above and beyond typical hotel meeting rooms.

The hotel also now boasts the largest ballroom in Qingpu along with seven function rooms, totalling to more than 1,600 sqm of banquet and function space.

As expected, guests can make use of the Fit Lounge with an indoor heated swimming pool, a business centre and an executive lounge for guests booked in eligible rooms or with Accor Platinum status.

Travellers will be able to earn points and status with the Le Club AccorHotels loyalty program, which will be rebranded as ‘ALL’ by the end of 2019 and introduce new Diamond and Black tiers.
