Restarting the Frankfurt route should be next in Europe. It's a huge hub and would make the most sense. Other option would be Madrid maybe? Oneworld connectivity would be an advantage here. 

Wouldn't criticise Amex for this, this has likely come from Singapore given St George has seen a similar change.Adding QR is huge, sideways move at worst. Availability isn't quite as good but looking in advance I can see a fair bit of June 2024 availability for LHR - DOH - MEL for just 90k points...

If they launch in Australia could be really good for us. Has very similar OW availability to QFF but at far fewer points for ultra long haul (Europe/N America). 

Where have you got the $500 figure from?Their website lists MEL - BKK one way in "Premium flatbed" for a whopping $1700 one way pretty consistently in 2023 - not remotely competitive!
