Thanks for that info! Thats re-assuring to know that the connection is fast and easy because the connection time is only 1 hr and 40 min, quite tight. Also a shame to hear about another airline going 10 across. 

Flying to NY next April, Air Canada is offering the cheapest prices and also quickest flying time (economy) from SYD. Just wondering if anyone has flown this route before? its via YVR and then connecting to Newark. How does International transit work in Vancouver?Any advice welcome, Thanks :)
