I was platinum until 2 weeks ago and had only received double points offers not status credits. In the past I think that double status credits were offered in March and September but don't rely on QF to be predictable.

I flew Qantas PE earlier this year PER - LHR and I have never had such a sore back before. It took me days to recover.
