Air China opens Beijing T3 arrivals lounge for Australian flights

In brief: Air China's first and business class passengers on the airline's Australian flights have access to the airline's new arrivals lounge in Beijing.

The new lounge, in Terminal 3, provides shower facilities, Internet access, food and drinks. A printer is also available, which is useful to print out the address of your destination hotel or office in Chinese if you're about to jump into a Beijing cab to get there.

In addition to Australian flights, business travellers arriving from Vancouver and European services also receive access to the lounge. Air China's PhoenixMiles Gold and Platinum frequent flyers on all those flights are also welcomed.

There's a three-hour time limit on your stay, but that's more than enough for almost any traveller.

Air China continues to improve its services to draw business travellers onto its flights. Earlier this month, it started using brand new Airbus A330 planes with new, fully-flat business class beds on Australian flights.

Check out our in-depth article on the new business class seats to discover which of the airline's daily Beijing-Sydney flights get the new planes.
