Bangkok’s central Chao Phraya River will be adorned with a new accommodation choice for travellers come April 2016 with the opening of the AVANI Riverside Bangkok hotel.

At 26 storeys, the property overlooks the winding river and boasts uninterrupted views across the city from each of the 251 modern guestrooms.

Above it all sits Attitude Bar and Restaurant on the rooftop, adjoined by a designer infinity pool and three other bars and restaurants including Long Bar, Skyline for more formal dining and Pantry for more casual grab-and-go items in the lobby.

Down on the ground the adjoining Riverside Plaza boasts 60 outlets including more bars and restaurants but also retail brands, spas and entertainment outlets, while the hotel also runs a free shuttle boat to the BTS Skytrain station and Saphan Taksin pier with a journey time of around 15 minutes.

As part of the Global Hotel Alliance, guests at the AVANI Riverside Bangkok hotel can enjoy free Internet access and bottled water simply by joining GHA's Discovery loyalty program, while higher-tier Platinum and Black members can receive their usual room upgrades and other perks.
