Departing LAX on Sunday evening on QF94 I was expecting the worst with the boarding process. However Business check-in was a breeze until I found out there was no Qantas First Lounge (Platinum flyer) nor a QF Business Lounge. The total security process was about 40 minutes, but no priority lanes.
Having been told we could enjoy the One World Business Lounge I became wary and once inside the darkish interior my worst fears were revealed. It was fairly full but the food on offer was disgraceful - no Neil Perry designed food here. Any pretence that the Chicken Stir Fry actually had chicken it in resulted in me finding two tiny bits of meat, Same goes for the Hot Smoked Salmon dish. Plus Mac & cheese; what are they thinking?
I would have preferred that Mr Joyce gave me $100 to buy some food & drinks elsewhere. The dinner and service on QF94 was its usual high standard.

Neil Perry food is not what I'd be wishing for. Equally disgraceful.
