Virgin Australia flies into Queenstown and has a codeshare arrangement with Air New Zealand for onward flights into other cities or regional centres.
Just noticed this under "Where do we fly into New Zealand" on the Virgin website. Just tried to enter Auckland as an end destination but to no avail.
Anyway - I'm still holding hope that Virgin adds Auckland etc back to their NZ destinations asap.

Pretty sure that's a 'interline' agreement between VA and NZ (not a codeshare), as NZ currently has a domestic codeshare agreement with QF atm.

Correct NZ got a divorce with VA a few years back, then got into a causal relationship with QF.
