Virgin counting down to first 737-10 delivery
Jun 13, 2026, 08:14 AMIt won't be "three rows of J recliners" if the 204-passenger mark is to go by. Bain will want to standardise the "8 Recliners" across all aircraft regardless of type.At most the current 4 Economy X rows will be increased to 5 rows (if not 6 rows) due to the design of the 737-10 aircraft.

Qantas, Jetstar confirm Western Sydney Airport flights
Jun 12, 2026, 11:52 AM"There is also a perception challenge that should not be overlooked. If Virgin Australia is not seen as fully embracing Western Sydney and its rapidly growing customer base, there is a risk of alienating a significant segment of future travellers. The long-term success of any airline depends on f...

Qantas, Jetstar confirm Western Sydney Airport flights
Jun 09, 2026, 11:47 PMDon't think VA has plans to fly from WSI for the short term foreseeable future. VA's PR responses of "looking closely at new opportunities" when asked about WSI suggest they are taking a "wait and see" approach. QF's slow approach suggests VA are willing to concede the market to ...

Why Qantas sees Auckland as its “eastern hub”
Jan 29, 2026, 11:05 AMThere's a lesser chance of MEL-JFK occuring in favour of another SYD/MEL-Europe rotation. MEL looks like being stuck with a MEL-AKL-JFK rotation with the 789s alonside SYD-JFK

VA lounge access at BNE international
Aug 17, 2024, 12:36 PMNot if you're flying VA (and VA is not a Star Alliance member). IIRC NZ only allows VA members if they're flying on a QR/VA codeshare flight (operated by QR) under a third party arrangement with QR.

QF brings back the 787 on BNE-LAX?
Apr 27, 2024, 06:13 PMOriginally Posted by WSQplat Apparently BNE-LAX will be a mix of A330s and 787s from this point onwards? Today’s QF15 is a 787. Temporary until mid May on selected flights (Monday, Wednesday and Friday) iirc before it reverts back to the A330.
