Can anyone advise the partnership between VA and United on domestic flights in USA. Does VA platinum get lounge access for domestic flights booked as individual bookings? Work trip to ORD, but with United being the only airline flying to Decatur, Illinois I need to understand if I'll be able to check my bags without charge.
