Am about to book my first business trip to Europe in years.... in economy :(
I'm Velocity Platinum so looking at either QR or SQ. Looking at the flights, there are pros/cons with both airlines. QR is quicker (about 4 hrs in each direction) and only 1 stop in Doha but the seat pitch on their 777 and 787s is tight. It looks like I can get a VA flight number both ways with QR.
SQ on the other hand have slightly better width and pitch on their 359s but it's two stops with a third short flight with LH. I find their 359s already tight so the idea of being even tighter on QRs a/c is worrying.
What do more experienced flyers think is the best option and why?
Even though it says QR is tighter, I feel they are mostly about the same. But I CANNOT STAND the regional seat on SQ's 359. Super hard and uncomfortable for me.

SQ would take the cake for me, better all round and the A359's are terrific imho. Did economy with them to barcelona and was happy with the product.
