Does anyone know if the upcoming EK flights starting on 1st Oct between MXP - JFK and vice versa will be QF coded? Or becuase they're to/from North America does Oneworld (in the form of BA/AA) forbid QF from doing this?

I'd assume that depends on whether QF has rights to fly between EU and US.

Would be great! Doesnt the QF / EK alliance  only cover flights originating in AUS to Europe destinations and return? or does Qantas codeshare on all other (ie: African / Asian) flights etc?

I think QF only code-shares on EK Flights ex. Aust to Europe and North Africa. Also, as QF most likely doesnt have the rights for MXP-JFK, it is unlikely the flight will have a QF Code.

You will be able to claim QFF points, but no SC as it would be an EK operated and marketed flight - not a QF one.
