QF has replaced FQ on the Moree route until March.  The FQ routes are operated under license from the NSW govt.  The likelihood is that Rex will take these routes overpermanently.

Expect QF to keep Moree, where viable the others will go to Rex. Expect NTL-CBR to go by the wayside for now.

Expect the state contract routes to be likely won by Rex.

Off my memory, QFlink used to have the SYD-Moree contract - they were quick to offer relief services on this route only... so I guess this indicates that they would like to keep it.

Anyone know what QF are using on this route? Q300 or 400 (or 200)

Q200 only for the time being.  The loads don't warrant anything bigger at this stage.

I think that's why we think they'll let most of the contracts go to Rex, which has the right planes for the job.

I think you're right the Rex will pick up most of the contracts. However, I wouldn't be suprised if QF bids for Moree again - I've read that they had plently of community support up there when Brindabella picked up the last contract.
