When do Etihad reward flights become available to book with Velocity points?

When do reward flights typically become available for flights with Eithad, booked through Virgin Australia with velocity points?

I'm looking to travel around August / September next year, but I can't seem to find ANY reward flights. Are they typically available immediately, or 6 months before, or is it just random?

I would try calling Velocity. I find the website very difficult to find much in premium cabins

Virgin rewards booking site using partners is a farce, very low availability all around. Ive had to call the centre each time to make a booking with singapore airlines as there is no option to do it online. They need to step their game up if they really want to compete, still a budget airline posing as a full service carrier in a few areas.

I'm not sure if I'm correct but I remember reading something to the effect that when the SQ/VA FF partnership starts this month that they will also release a better online booking tool for SQ redemption flights.

Gian, correct me if I'm wrong but didn't that partnership start years ago or are you referring to something new?
