Hi Guys, Looking to book QR for my upcoming trip from Europe to Asia. Looking at flying FRA - KUL and BKK - AMS.

happy with the aircraft for all except I have two choice for the DOH - KUL leg. A340-600 or 777-300er. Can anyone tell me which would be preferred out of these two? Travelling Economy.

I'm 6'3" so which has more legroom, just a general higher level of comfort?

the 2-4-2 on the a340 is very appealing - less strangers, only one person to wake up, but my recent experiences with EY flying both said the 777 was a bit of a nicer aircraft all round.

I'm 6'2 and have flow the 77W in an exit row and an A333 in Y (similar seat as the A346). I'd recommend going for the 77W, even in a normal row, I could see it had more legroom than the Airbus.

When I flew DOH-KUL and was lucky enough to get op-upped at the gate.

The 777-300ER is generally a wonderful bird & doesn't disappoint at all on QR - flew it last month with them in Y & LOVED it.
