50% more Status Credits on QF.

Hi All,

Just received an e-mail from QF offering 50% more status credits for books made from the 8th -14th July and travelled up until 5th November.

My invite must be in the mail!

What status are you? What's your current status balance? Are you close to the next tier / requalification?

I have re quallified for Silver and only 100 status credits away from maintaing Gold. Was Platnium before I had my soft landing to Gold.

I'd hazard a guest that they're targeting people close to gold requalification by dangling the carrott. I'm miles from gold but only 3 months in and haven't received such offer.

If this is the case, quite dynamic of Qantas FF as it's in everyone's best interest that you retain Gold.

I haven't got anything yet. Was about to book some to NZ. I think QF doesn't send these type of offers to everyone, it's more of a selective process depending on your account status.

I received the email as well. Just qualified for Platinum and my re-qualification period is not until June 2016! 

QF seems to be randomly making these offers to select FFers - all with relatively short (ie.1 week booking periods).

There have been at least three of these (with different booking dates) over the last month,

I received one of these emails back in April for travel upto 18th August if booked within the 7 day offer period. Luckily I am flying back from Istanbul on QF codes with Emirates in Business so the timing was perfect for me. 280 sc turn into a very welcome 420sc
