Which America lounge are you referring to?

I'm referring to the American lounge at the Sydney airport. 

Ah, it's the 'American Express' lounge, and dls1976 below has the correct answer – that card doesn't provide access.

If you are referring to the amex lounge then no you wont have access with your platinum card. You need the Westpac Altitude Black Card.

That's the rule in Sydney, but not in America where any AMEX cardholder can pay for access to the Centurion Lounges.

We'll need clarification from See Mun to see which lounge she was referring to.
