I recently looked at flights between abu dhabi and sydney and it appears that VA's service has disappeared? Does anyone know if VA axed the route, I cant seem to find any news about it.
AusBT reported 3 weeks ago that the 777 upgrades were being postponed, and "The airline's flights between Sydney and Abu Dhabi, which were previously to be suspended between October 27 and December 16, will now operate as normal."
The flight operated on Sat (24/10), but is not on the timetable again until 24/11.

Do VA still serve abu dhabi?

It was suspended to allow the 777 upgrades. VA's schedule shows VA29 and VA30 operating in Jan 16.

Yes VA29/30 still runs but it's not daily (3 times a week).

They haven't axed Syd-AUH route; VA will upgrade the B777s with new products.
