Qantas says it won’t let dogs, cats fly in the cabin

It would be interesting to see a pet carrier that fits under a seat. Would it be reasonable to put any adult cat or dog in it?

If Hawaiian joins One World, then there is a question over the VA alliance. Given the Qatar Airways situation and the lack of other competition on Australia-Hawaii, perhaps the VA alliance could survive.

A legacy of an era of Qantas history where many poor decisions were made. But will it change ? Unfortunately there are probably not enough customers that know that they should either join EC or another alliance once they reach LG. Good job ET showing the way..

The Qantas seat map suggests a larger seat pitch for the Y left side seats in front of the exit row. Will be interest to see how these are sold and if Q are going to follow VA with economy +.

I’m curious about the lack of direct services from Singapore to Honolulu. Would seem to be in range with current aircraft. Maybe Hawaiian will be able to expand routes in their new structure.

Time to remove Qantas Gold from priority boarding.

You might be platinum now, but will you get to life platinum. Probably not given the crazy points earn needed, but you might get to life gold.

Keep your boarding passes. I recently had to request a boarding confirmation statement from JAL before Qantas would credit points and then they objected because the booking system sometimes joins my first and second name together. One of those less than satisfactory interactions with Qantas.

Interesting we are up to 20 comments and I don’t see anyone attempt to answer the OP’s question, but without the attachment that would be difficult even if there was the will to do so. Children in J reflect a lot on the personality of the adult passenger. We did it a number of time...

While the 787-8 transfer to QF is an old rumour, but it is one possible explanation for the evident lack of A332 replacement in the recent fleet announcements. As far as I know, the A333s are the oldest of the A330s and the 787-10s plus a few more 787-9s plan seems to only replace the A333 fleet...
