Assuming you're crediting these flights to Etihad Guest, you will get the Tier Miles for the Alitalia operated flight.

Points (but not Status credits) can also be earned on Alitalia in the Qantas Frequent Flier program should you have a QFF membership. Alitalia is currently a Qantas 'partner' airline.

Thank you for the info, but i am after Etihad tier miles on an Etihad ticket operated by a partner ( without me knowing ) the orignal itinerary involved an Ey flight to Rome which was changed to an AZ.

No problem, Atzeri.

Since your membership of the Etihad Guest program was not mentioned in the original question, it was not clear what program you were seeking to direct points to. I would suggest that is also why Peter framed his answer in the manner shown above. Glad it is all 'sorted' for you.
