Long weekend: Darwin or Alice Springs?
Am based in Sydney and looking at either of these for a long weekend away (three nights). Which city offers more to see and do? I'm generally quite content with sightseeing and just relaxing.

Recommend Datwin - lot more to do, however they are now enjoying the wet season
Alice Springs is interesting once-in-a-lifetime experience, but the Darwin Waterfront is more appealing and relaxing IMHO
