Does anyone have any experience on earning Velocity SC on the new AirNZ Trans Tasman PE (either A or O class).

Does anyone have any experience on earning Velocity SC on the new AirNZ Trans Tasman PE (either A or O class). The Velocity website hasn't been updated and only has Long Haul for PE, Trans Tasman isn't listed like it is under other classes. Velocity Plat support said no, no SCs available, but I suspect they were reading off the same unupdated information - it would be very unfair if economy gets SCs but PE doesn't. If anyone has flown in A or O SYD->AKL since Oct when it launched I'd love to know how many SCs you earned. It'll be the difference between keeping gold and not for me this year. Thanks!

Its a while ago but I had no issues. It was (in those days) Pre Economy rather than Business

Thanks, AirNZ's Trans Tasman PE service only started in Oct. Previously you could sit in the PE seats if you were lucky, but they didn't sell the fare.

Actually I asked too soon, the website has just been updated and trans-tasman PE is now showing as earning SC. :-)
