I've never needed a Round the World ticket before in my travels, so I'm asking for some help please as I've had no experience!

I'm wanting to fly With Virgin Australia and its Partner Airlines from Melbourne or Sydney to Abu Dhabi, London, Bridgetown (Barbados), Los Angeles then back to Australia.

I know RTW tickets are easy with Qantas but Im not sure if its possible.  I'm a Gold Velocity member with Virgin hence they are my preferred carrier for this trip...

Any help/tips appreciated.

They did offer one through singapore a while back. Maybe sub Abu Dhabi for Singapore and you can do it. Not sure about the Bridgetown leg.

SQ website might be a good starting place?

There is a VA/VS RTW fare starting at $2940 plus taxes. You would have to fly VA to AUH then get to DXB to take VS to LON, then VS to Bridgetown. Then fly home on VA from Mainland USA. Fill in the gaps however you please.

I suppose it's not an ideal itinerary but at least is uses a Velocity affiliate.

and I'd suggest calling VA or VS to book. OR contact a competent travel agent.

Try RoundAbout Travel in Adelaide. They are awesome to deal with. Specialise just in RTW fares. Have booked numerous through them over the years.
