Chances of getting a Qantas Business Suite to Hawaii in April 2016?

Hi. Planning to fly to Hawaii on QF in April 2016. Want to know my chances of getting a refurbished A330 with the new seats? Do we know how many have been done?

Currently Rurbished

8 A330-200s VH-EBA, EBJ, EBK, EBF, EBB

6 A330-300s VH-QPA, QPB, QPC, QPD, QPE, QPI

End of Year:

9 A330-200s (in addition VH-EBC)

7 A330-300s (in addition VH-QPF)

Also A330-200s VH-EBV, EBS

and EBE

HNL is most likely the last destination they will put the new J on, hence why they kept that route on the 767 till its retirment.

Mostly leisure travellers on that route, had a friend fly HNL to SYD a couple of days ago on QF and got the Skybed MK 1

Your chances are not 100% until the entire A330 fleet has been refurbished.

Most flights to HNL in recent months have been old J on A330-200.  So it looks like it is not a focus route for the new J.  Seem to be mainly using 2 of the -200s with Skybed 1.  Given that these are the best of the old J, would think that QF would tend to leave these to the end of the uprgade program.

The JQ J seats are basicly QF Premium Economy seats. I'd consider even the MK1 QF J seats to be better.

Looking on The Qantas Source, not one refubed ship in the last month ...
