Hi. On a recent trip to the US I had the LAX to DCA (Reagan) flights registered under my AA Advantage number so that I could accumulate some AA Miles. I now realize that the status points are therefore not registered by Qantas. Is there any way I can get Qantas to recognize these flights for my status?

Thanks

Thanks. It is not my intention to double dip but to go back in time and register the flights with my QFF number. If not I guess I will have to put it down to experience.

Mileage accrual #101.

If ever in doubt, think through the implications of your intended actions. The resulting conundrum may provide solutions or at the very least, further questions to help illustrate and assist in illuminating the issues at hand.

Short answer - no. Once the door of the plane closes, the chance to change your FF number in the reloc expires.
