I'm sure assistance with the bedding can be provided, but most on the flight will be doing the same thing when you get into cruise. It's a very short flight for a red-eye, often under 4hrs
Also note that wihile it has a high chance of a refurb - subs do happen (eg. last Wed night was VH-EBO with Recaro seating, and a 737 often operates on Sat night)

It should be, as far as I know - and I believe you get J lounge access on arrival in SYD.

IIRC J pax on ex-PER redeyes get access, a benefit unique to the ex-PER redeyes.

I overheard a CSM tell a Business passenger they were welcome to visit the Business Lounge on arrival. But I didn't know said passengers status.
