So if I use calculator it says that BKK-HKG in Business worth 24K points, but when I try to book it shows 26K points. Anyone have conspiracy theory why?

It's 24K with Emirates.

With CX and others it's 26K.

24K points is a Qantas reward.  26K points is a partner reward.  Would only make sense if QF operated in that sector.

Cool. But I AFAIK QF does not operate this sector and I am not sure if their master flying this sector either. Thus 24K is theoretical number, pretty much like temperature of absolute zero or speed of light that in practice you never can get.

Emirates has a daily flight and as noted above it's 24K.

Yea, though there are few comments:

I have not seen any EK flights between BKK and HKG in classic award while CX are plentiful

and I would choose CX over EK any day and for any route.

Anyway I feel that info on QF website misleading.
