Hi All, over the past few years I have been aiming to fly the A380 in first over a variety of airlines. I see that Qatar will begin flying their A380 to SYD from September. However, I can only book a Business fare (through their website) as First is not an option. I'm a bit reluctant to book a J fare and hope that an upgrade option becomes available as I hold no Oneworld status. If anyone knows why/when First fares will be released let me know. Cheers
I tried using Google Flights to search for the First class option and found that it's not bookable directly from Qatar but online sites such as Expedia can book it. You could try calling directly to ask them or you can book via a travel agent or online travel agent like Expedia. The google flights page redirected me to CheapOAir which gives a return price of US$12,708 for the return journey and I am even able to select seats at that page.
Hello, I am a Travel Agent and we have access to their First Class fares. They commence flying the A380 with First Class from Sydney on 16 September. Cheers
Qatar do have First Class fares ex Sydney loaded into their system but they need to be booked in "F" class.,not A or P as with other airlnes.They show a First Class fare to London of $14350 plus $1100 taxes.
Any good travel agent would be able to book it for you.
There might be fares loaded bit It's very rare,if ever,you'll see A class available DOH-LHR on an A380,the yield is too low.Qatar have no trouble filling the aircraft on that sector in F CLASS.

Actually they do have fares available from 16 SEP booked in A, P or F. Fares starting from AUD$12,145.00 + Taxes/Fees.
