Pricing--Air NZ Long Haul Flight booked with Velocity Points

I'm interested in using my Velocity points to book a ticket from SYD to EZE (Buenos Aires) on Air NZ.

I am a bit confused as to how the ticket will price based on the points tables published by VA.  The route will obviously require a Trans-Tasman leg and a long-haul leg, both presumably on Air NZ.  Will the tickets price out on the table 2 chart as if it was one journey, or will the Trans-Tasman and long-haul leg be priced separately?

Thanks,

Georg

Terms and Conditions #2 under Table 2 :

'The points price of a Reward seat will be based on the total miles for all sectors in a one way journey, except where there is a break in the journey. etc etc'

So it appears that as long as you do not have a stopover of more than 24 hours between the two legs and you fly Air NZ all the way in the same travel class, then it should be counted as one Reward.

You could call Velocity to clarify.
