true, EBL is in BNE hanger, but there is speculation as to the reason...ive heard via other sites it is just for maintenance. Is it confirmed that EBL is in for refurb? Just enquiring, not complaining.
*that too. However QF3 changes on Saturday from the old config to new on expert flyer. And since EBG is the only non refurb it must enter on Saturday/Sunday. Also Fred M on yssy forum who is very reliable has stated in the not too distant past that EBL will be refurbed after EBP.
I just booked flights from SIN to SYD (QF6) in May and noticed the A330 seat plan provided through Qantas has the old seats, not the new business suite. On Qantas' seat plans they also show that tails EBG & EBL remain in the older seat. These fly on routes to/from SIN & PEK (and other). From some brief research I know that the refurbishment plan for these two late last year was on hold because their leases end soon and Qantas was considering what to do with them.
Does anyone know if/when they will be refurbished to the new business suite soon? If not, I'd prefer to change my booking now.

A330-200
16 have been refurbished.
EBL is in refurbishment
EBG should enter for refurbishment on the weekend when EBD finishes its maintenance check.
So currently there is only EBG which is operating QF3/4 constantly. And so by the end of the weekend all active A330s will be refurbished.
All A330-300s have been refurbished
