I'm flying from LAX to SYD via YVR on AC. And I wounder how many hours prior to my departure can I check in @ LAX. And also since Air Canada operates out of T2, is there any way that I could go to the star alliance business class lounge at TBIT (since I have a star alliance gold membership). I heard not really good things about the Air Canada lounge in LAX so if there is any connector (like the one in T4) or shuttle please let me know. Thank you for your guys help!
No connector at all - you have to walk landside. There is a shuttle bus, and you can get access to TBIT on an AC boarding card, but the whole process takes about half an hour as you have to go through security in each terminal. Seriously, is it worth it?
