How bizzare. But then again so many people to tend to wander around the QantasClub as if it was their own lounge room, whereas it is a busy airport, and just a stop off pub for many of us.

No connector at all - you have to walk landside. There is a shuttle bus, and you can get access to TBIT on an AC boarding card, but the whole process takes about half an hour as you have to go through security in each terminal. Seriously, is it worth it?

There is a great edition of the TV series Utopia about the very fast rail proposals for MEL-SYD. It really is a laughing matter - it just isn't feasible. Too few passengers, too much cost, noone willing to take the risk. It will never happen!
