Another option would be looking at a paid membership with United Airlines "United Club" or Air Canada "Maple Leaf Club", which allow access to star alliance member operated lounges
The Air Canada lounge membership might work as well. It's currently of special until the 27th of October. The price is AU$592 (current exchange rate) which also provides access for a guest. With the you could pick the Air NZ lounge or Singapore Airlines lounge in Brisbane, The Singapore Airlines gold lounge in Singapore and the United, Luftahansa, Air Canada or Singapore Airlines lounge in London.
