Correct: This change only applies to 'Any Seat, Any Airline' bookings (ie. when you call Velocity and essentially convert your points to a monetary value to 'pay' for a commercial ticket on an airline outside of Virgin Australia and its web of partners). You can continue to use Velocity points to book reward flights and make 'any seat' bookings on Virgin Australia and all partners (including Singapore Airlines). :)
