I have an upgradeable economy ticket with Singapore Airlines, and would like to use my Aegean miles to upgrade to Business. What's the process to action this? I am Gold Tier on Miles+Bonus if that helps.

Yes with Aegean you can do it online.

First Step is to check your booking, you need to be booked in either Y, B or S class in Economy (if you're not then you simply can't upgrade).

Next Step is to Check your booking for the operating aircraft, If the operating Aircraft is a 777-300ER or an A380 then forget it, Singapore Airlines does not allow upgrades on those types of aircraft.

Next Step is to check if you have the correct number of points and depending on the destination this could be between 15,000 - 60,000 points per person one way. (The Table is on the Aegean website).

Then you need to login to the website and go to the My Account page where you will find an option in the bottom right corner saying "I want to..." and you want to press the spend miles option.

Along the top, the options are award ticket, star alliance upgrade and non-air partner awards.

After selecting the star alliance upgrade you can fill in the details and submit the upgrade. Aegean will then check with SQ for availability and either process it or decline it depending on what SQ say. Unlike Qantas your status does not make a difference it's simply a first come first serve situation.

Hope this helps.
