I'm almost sure they are out of sync.
showing zero premium availability in expert for all of may, but on Qantas site, theres plenty of bookable seats.
for example check bne-lax 16th may. theres at least 3 prem economy on Qantas but nothing on expert
14th/15th/16th may lax-mel business (on the 787!!!!!!!!!!!!!), I just took 2 seats, but they weren't on expert flyer.
are Qantas using a different code for expert now?
they certainly aren't in sync.
other partners (AA/Alaska/asia miles) are showing the expert flyer feed (not the same seats as Qantas site).
weird, but also great.

update - was able to book the 2 seats lax-mel on 16 may.
theres also a F seat lax-mel that day that not showing up on expert.

I grew up believe in 2 things, the bible, and expert flyer, now I don't believe in either.

I imagine you might be Qantas Silver or above (likely Gold or Platinum)?

When it comes to reward availability, ExpertFlyer shows what's available to all members only (i.e. Bronze flyers).

When you search the same thing via the Qantas website, Qantas shows you what's available to all members (what ExpertFlyer can see) plus any specific reward seats which are being held for members of your status level or higher. It's one of the less-talked-about perks of Qantas status. :)

(Even if you enter your Qantas Frequent Flyer in the ExpertFlyer settings page, this is only used when requesting seat maps for flights, not reward availability.)

agreed - something buggy going on at the moment (or it's changed since i last was searching for a holiday!). same with the SYD-DFW route. EF and QF partners (AA, Alaska, Asiamiles, Avios) all can't see the same availability as i can see as a QF bronze (online, and confirmed via phone agents). PITA!
