Am having issues stopping alerts from the Virgin Flight specials app and would appreciate any tips/contact numbers.
At one point I subscribed to MEL-CNS flight specials. I then turned off those alerts via the app but keep getting notifications to my phone, sometimes in the middle of the night. The Virgin Australia call centre have no idea how to resolve this and the absence of any Virgin tech support capability finally directed me to fill in a feedback form on their website, which of course there has been no response to.

Turn notifications off for the app. When you go into settings, click notifications, then select the app, then disable notifications.

MRYJDrake - It's an Android with 7.0
rj - yes, had tried that but it didn't work. Suspect that VA haven't unsubscribed my number when I turned the alerts off in the app hence trying to contact them

Are they push notifications or SMS?
