It has changed a bit. I think the calendar you refer to was the one month view of Reward flights
When you select the departure date, in the calendar that pops up there is a Felxible with Dates checkbox in the top left. Select that. I think this will bring up what you are looking for,.
Recently booked a reward flight for next September, I had options on my dates so it didn't bring up the calendar. I've found it come up when there are no options on my specific date
