Would anybody be able to help with the following question:

I am a BA executive club gold member (OWE) but I also have a QF FF bronze account due to my credit card. I am travelling from LAX to BNE in premium economy in April using my qf points. Will I still be able to access the OW first lounge in LAX with my BA OW status?

Thanks in advance for helping....

Short answer: yes. As you won't be earning any points on the flight, you may as well just link your BA membership number to the booking, which will print your status on your boarding pass and give you easy access to other perks like priority check-in and priority boarding without having to flash your BA card throughout the journey.

Thanks for the quick response Chris.

Is it possible to link two different accounts to one booking though? Don’t I have to be linked to the Qantas one whatever due to making the booking using points from this account?

My friend's adult student son will be spending some 11 hours in TBIT in January. (SYD-LAX-LHR).

He has an AMEX card.
Any advice on lounges he can access appreciated.
And-conflicting advice re clearing Immigration.
Does he have to clear on a connecting flight-arriving TBIT departing T7.
LH ticket, all sectors on UA.

I've suggested he get an ESTA (?) anyway.
Tks
